Truebite Cutting Bits ceramics tools

We specialize in the development of new and innovative tools and techniques for solving difficult problems. Thus, we designed Truebite ceramics tools to specifically support the ceramic industry, hobbyists and tradesmen.

The original Truebite Cutting bit was introduced to the ceramics hobby industry in 1983. Certainly, these specialty carbide-cutting bits are as valid today as they were then.

Truebite carbide cutting bits come in 1/4″, 1/8″, 1/16″, and 1/32″ sizes. Also, they all have a 1/8″ shank. These were originally designed with the purpose of de-grouting bathroom tile in mind. Thus, they can drill and router tiles very well. In addition to tile work, they are very useful in hard-to-reach areas.

Any drehmel tool will work with these. That is to say, it doesn’t matter if it is a constant or variable speed. The reason is that these bits work through speed and light touch.

All the Truebite cutting bits have a fishtail point and a router surface. Firstly, the 1/8″ is perfect for slotting and general-purpose work. Next, the 1/32″ is good for ceramic Christmas tree holes. Lastly, the 1/16″ is great for salt and pepper shakers.

The fishtail points easily cut through the glaze. Furthermore, the side of the bit can be used to enlarge holes without chipping.
